Lately

We are in love watching our sweet boy lately! He takes after me in the fact that the mornings are his favorite part of the day! He always wakes up smiling and coos to us for hours! He is sleeping for about 9 hours straight, so everyone has been feeling well rested!  

Jeff had a great 1st Father's Day weekend!  The weather was great and we spent time outside swimming with friends. It was Nolan's first time in the pool and he did great! He wasn't overly excited, but he floated around and took it all it! Nolan has been very active lately and likes to be busy.  He no longer wants to be cradled like a baby, but prefers to be facing outward, propped on my hip and standing up. We thought it would be the perfect time to put together his activity center.  He was so excited and has been loving it!

 On Monday evenings we have been taking advantage of the golf course being closed.  It has been so fun to walk the course while Pippa runs and while Jeff shoots around a bit. Nolan is getting a little heavy and I sure get my exercise carrying him.  Nolan is very into the dogs lately as well.  He loves to watch them walk around and has learned to reach his hands out to pet them.  Thankfully we are blessed with two dogs that love Nolan and the attention he gives them. 

 Our busy boy is into touching everything lately.  He enjoys helping me cook while riding in the front carrier.  He also likes to sit in his bumbo chair on our bathroom counter while I get ready in the mornings.  He knows the sound of the hair dryer and just started reaching his hand out for me to blow air on his hands.  He smiles and loves learning about the world around him! We continue to be blessed by staying seizure free and thank God everyday for a healthy, thriving baby boy!
